HOME
Our school strives to challenge its students to become model citizens. Our staff ensure the students reach their full potential by creating a challenging yet nurturing learning environment reflecting the faith of the Assyrian Church of the East, Assyrian language and culture.
Our college is named after an Assyrian Saint, Mar Narsai, who was one of the greatest Assyrian writers. He was born in the beginning of the 5 th Century and died in 502 A.D. Mar Narsai is a fitting patron of our College because of his affinity with young people, commitment and dedication in spreading knowledge and the promotion of Christian values among the communities of the early Christian era.
Mar Narsai Assyrian College is a co-educational school based on a ‘middle school’ model. The College has applied the ‘middle school’ model in the belief that this will enable students in Years 5 and 6 to have a smooth transition from a Primary to a High school setting. The College commenced in 2006 with approximately 110 students in Years 5-7. In 2007, the school has grown to over 200 students in Years 5-8. With the continued support of our community and their prayers, we anticipate student numbers to grow each year.
Mar Narsai Assyrian College is temporarily situated on the St. Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School premises in Greenfield Park. The college has purchased property in the Horsley Park area for the permanent campus to be built upon. Mar Narsai Assyrian College plans to relocate to the permanent residence in 2008.
